Trails

All are welcome to enjoy the over two miles of trails at PRI.  Trails are open to walkers and pets on a short leash.

Since PRI is either working on or observing plants and animals on most of our site, it is imperative that people and pets remain on trails as we may be conducting restoration and/or research immediately adjacent to them.  Much of our research and seed collection is unmarked.  It is critical to remain on the single trail in the north forest and our prairie remnant as we are conducting surveys, out-planting native trees/shrubs and understory plants, and doing other general research.  None of this may be very obvious and we don't post signs, so please remain on trails and do not forage.

Horseback riders should call the office first and speak with staff to determine trail availability.

Maps are available in the office (Brooder building)
