2024 Whidbey Island Cider Festival

Join us Saturday, September 28 at the Greenbank Farm for the 2024 Cider Festival
Tickets (10 Tasting Tokens and a Logo Glass) are now available for purchase. 
$40 in advance or $45 at the door - 21 and older only.

Bring the whole family for a day at the Greenbank Farm
Event and LIVE MUSIC begins at 10 AM
Shop at the vendors
Enjoy good food from local food trucks
Visit with PRI and other environmental focused organizations
And explore the grounds with friends and families

We will have a dedicated children's area with crafts and activities, guardian must be present.

Yearly Events

These are the events PRI has every year 

 Fruit Trees 101 by Dan Vorhis of Muscle and Arm Farm, this series of hands-on classes are great for beginners looking to grow their own fruit. January to April
       Tree Selection and Care - This class helps you decide which fruit trees are right for you to grow here on Whidbey Island. 
       Pruning - Covers what tools you need and how to care for them, as well as the techniques and training needed. 
       Bench Grafting - Learn how to properly graft scion wood to rootstock.  
       Soil 101 - Learn what soil is best for the garden you aim to create.  

Prairie Days in May
       Take guided tours of the prairie and the native plant center, learn about the birds, and purchase your own native plants for growing at home. Free and Family Friendly.  

Whidbey Island Cider Festival in late September 
       Free entertainment including the Shifty Sailors, and free activities for children and adults.  Food for purchase from food trucks.  And the main event - cider tasting from cideries for those who purchase a tasting glass and drink tokens. 

Raptor Days in October
       Raptor Days will be back in October.  Bring a jacket as we never know what the weather will bring. 

Seed Collection for Volunteers 
       Help us in our work by collecting seeds from the prairie and nearby properties for propagation and research. A great chance to volunteer outside.
