NATIVE PLANT SALE ALL DAY -- 15+ SPECIES INCLUDING CAMAS; Honey, PRI T-shirts, trail maps

7:00 am – Birding tour with Steve Ellis
10:00 am – Prairie tour with Robert Pelant
11:30 am – Native Plant Center tour with Mosa Neis
1:00 pm – "Earthquakes and Whidbey Island" a talk in PRI Granary by Mickey Cassar of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network
2:00 pm – Prairie tour with Robert Pelant
4:30 pm – Prairie tour with Mosa Neis

FRIDAY DETAILS:
* Birding Tour - ~1.5 hours; moderate walking; mostly level ground; bring binoculars; Bluebirds are in the area!
* Prairie Tours - ~1.5 hours; moderate walking; mostly level ground; prairie remnant, new restoration areas, Garry oak savanna
* Native Plant Center Tour - ~1 hour; close to parking area; see and learn about native plant propagation and how we use our shade area, nursery beds and greenhouse
* Earthquakes and Whidbey Island - ~1 hour in Granary; learn from MIckey Cassar of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network; learn about the seismic monitor on PRI's prairie

8:00 am – Birding tour
10:00 am – Prairie tour with Robert Pelant
11:15 am – 1:15 pm – Hot Dogs and refreshments by the Central Whidbey Lions Club
11:30 am – Native Plant Center tour with Mosa Neis
12:00 – 1:00 pm – Predators! Hold a gator and get close to a snapping turtle. Dave Coleburn of Northwest Wildlife Sanctuary
1:30 - 3:00 pm - Raptors! Get up close and personal with a predator of the air! Steve Layman, Master Falconer
3:30 – 5:00 pm – LIVE MUSIC at the firepit with Randy Williams
4:30 pm – Prairie tour with Mosa Neis

SATURDAY DETAILS:
* Birding Tour - ~1.5 hours; moderate walking; mostly level ground; bring binoculars; Bluebirds are in the area!

* Central Whidbey Lions Club Hot Dog stand - hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, pop and water for sale
* Native Plant Center Tour - ~1 hour; close to parking area; see and learn about native plant propagation and how we use our shade area, nursery beds and greenhouse
* PREDATORS - Join Dave Coleburn, owner of Northwest Wildlife Sanctuary and hold an alligator! Check out a giant snapping turtle and perhaps some other slithering surprises. Learn about the roles of predators in ecosystems around the world.
* RAPTORS - Join Master Falconer Steve Layman and falconer Joel Gerlach with their Saker Falcon and Red-Tailed Hawk - get up close and personal with these birds and learn all about them from these experts
* LIVE MUSIC - Join guitarist Randy Williams around the firepit
